I originally met with Sara and her mom at a local Starbucks to get to know each other and chat about any questions they may have before deciding on who Sara’s wedding photographer would be. To be honest, I left the meeting almost in (happy) tears because her mom said that they didn’t have to think about anything else and that they had no doubt about booking me right there. Simple comments like that are not only reassuring but also so humbling to walk away with. It always used to stress me out to try and come up with the perfect answer, so I stopped doing that, and always go into any sort of meeting just being myself 100%, and to know that people book me based on meeting me for the first time…. means more than they could know. 
Fast forward to Sara + Matt’s engagement session. Oh.my.word. His parent’s just moved on to the most beautiful property that I have ever seen. Trails along the river, sounds of fresh water running, enchanting trails, rolling fog, wildlife, and a vintage barn…be still my heart. And with these two in front of my camera, well…. it was all so perfect and I can’t wait to be a part of documenting their beautiful wedding that’s just around the corner!
